About Me

I'm not an orator, I'm an introverted writer. I even went to college for it. While I'm not a paid writer, at the moment, I'm a writer nonetheless. I was paid at one time, but that's all over.

I'm smarter than I look. I love theology, philosophy, history, literature, and nature. I have various goofy friends, own a few pairs of cowboy boots, collect dirt and rocks, am a coffee addict and if I sleep on my stomach I will always wake up with a rat's nest on my head. I digress...

I'm still just a writer who will touch on numerous topics, but will mostly pick apart the Bible and write about theology. I spent most of my adult life studying the Bible, 8 of which was with a group of scholars, theologians, divinity students, pastors and rabbis. I purposely avoided the influence and material of popular preachers and teachers.

I love theology as much as literature and the Bible is the greatest literary piece known. If it's true that there is nothing new under the sun, then looking back at history is beneficial. The Bible is an ocean of lessons we can learn from to better ourselves and the lives of those around us.

Right division of Scripture because scripture interprets scripture. This is the purpose of this blog and, as a warning, you may not like things I write about and you may be offended.

If you stumbled here, great. If you return, I am humbled. Thanks for stopping by. I'll be here for the rest of my life...
